I find myself saying we when referring to Texas A&M sports. I would think the players out there busting their tails would scoff a bit at my nonathletic self referring to their exploits as we did this we did that.

Is it OK for anyone that identifies with a particular program to say we? Must you be a graduate or current student? Or, must you actually be a part of the team?

Who cares? It's the Rant. This place probably has more creepy losers than the guys outside of a Justin Bieber concert.

I say "we" when talking to other Bama fans. But, usually just say Alabama/Bama otherwise.

If its a state school and you pay state taxes you can say we all you want to because you are paying for those little frickers to go to school for free.

My point is the PA Announcer says "Your South Carolina Gamecocks" to the fans. All the fans.

Sooo.

Fans are the MOST important part of any organization or famous person or any entity that needs them to exist.

Fans are the MOST qualified to call themselves a part of the organization... from my perspective.

Also, whoever said the SECrant is chock full of stupid and weird... yeah, i'm gonna go with that one too.

"we" is totally fine.

WGAS. I'm an alum but I've been saying "we" since I was a little kid. When you start going to the games when you're 3 and follow the program religiously, I don't think it's that big a deal to say "we've got a tough game this weekend" or whatever.

Now..if you start saying stuff like "It felt awesome when I won the game this weekend" then maybe it's time for some reflection.

I say we and I usually make fools out of the poor idiots who try to use the whole "what number are you on the team?" routine.

I think it's just fine to say "we".

I know you Aggies get real butthurt over "t-shirt" fans. In Louisiana, most of the LSU fans never attended the school. Many are blue-collar or just plumb dumb. But hey, it's a publicly funded university. Their taxes go to it.

And no, the fan base is part of the "we". Without them, your athletic department would be shite.

I thought this was in reference to Aggies saying "we" when talking about the SEC. I can't do it yet. It's not that I don't think we belong, but still adjusting to everything. Probably will take a couple of years.

Posters on the SECr usually call people on saying "we" in lieu of any actual salient point. It's all part of the SECr wheel of intellectual dishonesty.

You really are asking permission on a message board? I tend to put little value in the opinion of strangers. You do what you feel good doing, and in the word of TT'sTowel "Why? because FRICK YOU that's why"

I say we because my degree allows me to say so.

I don't see a problem with it.

But when you make a good argument using "we" there'll always be those few who have nothing smart to add so they'll troll with the "what number are you?" nonsense. Usually AU fans who do it. They've got nothing else going for them this year, so they've gotta do something.

I don't say "we".

I say "I".
