What, JFF is not the best QB is this conference? Surely you jest?

Do they not bother rating Auburn's QBs?

I like Shaw at 3. He wasn't even considered in the Top 5 pre season. He's performed well, but doesn't throw it a lot in comparison to some of the other guys. He's completion % is good though, and his TD/INT ratio is ok. I wish they showed rushing with that as well. I think he's up there with the top rushing QB's in the conference.

its funny bc if you click on all players not just qualified players then Quan Bray is the top rated passer

Here it is again.
Mett's numbers are deceiving. Look at how he played the last two weeks. He looks ready for the NFL.

Only one nationally relevant name on that list.
An arbitrary number doesn't do much tj change that.
There's one guy and then a bunch of others.

JFF is not #1? A&M Fans probably feel just like Wes Mantooth here...

That's completely uncalled for, Burgundy. You know those rating systems are flawed. They don't take into account houses that have more than two television sets...and other things of that nature.

Check out the scoring link - WOW!
1 Johnny Manziel, QB TA&M - 15 TDs (90 PTS).
He may not have the highest QB rating, but he's one hell of a game changer.

I stil like what Mett has done the last two games an awful lot...
Yeah, maybe he's a little late to the party, but it looks like he's getting the hang of this SEC QB thing....

just another example of how numerical ratings are bull shite. for some reason people feel the need to translate athletic performance to numbers so they can be ranked and compared to one another. this practice is enormously popular and about as worthy as a lincoln penny. there are some damn good qb's on that list and some average or undeveloped ones but the comparison is stupid. tyler russell is every bit as good as aaron murray and could win an nc on the right team. for example.

Yeah let's just take numbers out of sports. I mean, sometimes one team plays better and still loses thanks to those damn numbers. I mean, how can you put a number on performance. Am a right?

Whatever team you put Tyler Russell on that would win a title, Aaron Murray would win one on that same team too.

Mett went through a tough stretch with his receivers. I'm not saying he is a top tier QB yet, but things are finally clicking. I think he can finish strong and move up quite a bit in the final couple of games.

Go ask the defensive coordinators which QB's they would least like to see coming up on the schedule...
