Fortunately for y'all, JFF never played in the Big 12 but if he had played, they would probably be undefeated right about now.

I agree and hear a lot of people saying we would have two losses because of our secondary, which is very suspect but mainly on deep balls. We had terrible tackling from the secondary in the beginning of the season but made some changes and have improved. We would put up 50+ on anybody in the Big12 and our defense is much better than any of them.

In my "real world opinion" it's all about generating revenue and LSU is most likely the better team but A&M is definitely more popular.

JFF is a popular player, but a aTm is a dorky school that is not popular anywhere outside their area. Male gay chear leaders yeah that's popular.
Now the Aggies this year with JFF and a fan base happy with their second good season of the millenium would travel well.

There are two realities here....

A&M beats the number one team in the land and may win out to end at 10-2 but will likely be third in the SEC West. FML.

The other reality is...the above is true yet we are a top 8 in the BCS and in the conversation for the Fiesta Bowl.

This league is the AAA for the NFL.

Dorky school and gay male cheer leaders was funny a month ago and yet the entire nation can't stop talking about us. I think most are starting to realize thats not who we really are. The respect from the SEC fan base has been beyond my expectations and we have certainly earned it.

stupid is as stupid does

The changes made by the coaches were great for y'all IMO. AJ had noone to throw to most of the time. Outside of a few deep balls, y'all really shut our receiving game down.

Congratulations on your second relevant season of this millenium: 2010 and 2012.

Both share something: Losses to LSU in the State of Texas. No talking can change that.

I addressed our secondary issues in an earlier post so how about you look at what we have done since then. Several of their td's were flat out terrible tackling on short pass routes. We also had a pick 6 and muffed punt inside our own 5 yard line.

Watch the game and dont just go off the final score.

Also, outside of LSU we held Alabama to their lowest point total of the year.

La Tech is ranked 20. Not exactly a terrible team.

I hope Alabama gets somehow back to the title game and spanks whoever they play.
The SEC is so much more competitive than the big 12-2. K State would probably lose to 5 out of 6 of the SEC teams in the top 10.

Regarding the polls, how are 2 loss SEC schools ahead of FSU and OU?

OU has two losses to KSU and ND for goodness sake.

Will Vegas have FSU or UF as a favorite, hum?

Something doesn't smell right.
Um, LSU lost to UF and Bama. LSU has quality wins over A&M and USCe. FSU has a crappy schedule with one good win. They almost lost to VT yesterday. OK isnt doing too well themselves.

Not really. Y'all took down the #1 team, defending national champs at their place. That's better than anything we've done the past few weeks. The only thing that we're mad about is that now that Alabama lost it probably takes up another BCS spot. There was the slimmest of chances that we could make it to a BCS bowl as an at large. Now that y'all won, y'all are a sexy pick to go. It knocks every SEC team a notch in the bowl pecking order with Alabama out of the NCG.

And just think that aTm offense isn't anywhere near as fast and as potent as Oregon's.

I hope you don't really believe this. Compare our O against theirs and then realize we have played three top 10 defenses compared to zero for Oregon.

How much do these rankings drop if Clemson beats USCe and if FSU beats UF?
