I wonder if the thought ever crossed Chizzard's mind the moment Cam won the championship that Cam was the reason they won, not Chiz, and Cam made Chiz appear to be a great coach, when in fact he's fricking terrible.
I wonder if he ever thought Oh God, in a couple of years they'll realize I'm a fraud?
He should have just retired right after that win, LaRussa style.

2010 was a fraud and easily the worst SEC team to win the title outside of LSU 2007.
They had like 4 miracle victories and mediocre team talent outside of Cam and Nick.

Think about all they were able to overcome. Shitty coaching, mediocre surrounding talent, hyper competitive division, beating Saban on the road after spotting 24 points, historic blowout win in the SECCG, and a national title.
These 2 did all of that.

Super Cam was indeed one of the greatest players ever. In one year he won it all...by himself.

He probably thinks he is still a good coach. His scouting is worse than his coaching. He did win a NC as a DC and and the #1 D in the nation in 2004 as DC for AU. But the man cannot scout talent.

While Cam was a key to that season so was Nick Fairly as well as the offensive line that Cam played behind.
Also Gus specifically designed plays for Cam to be successful in.
Chizik assembled the staff that won the MNC so he should get some credit as well.
