What are your feelings about LSU and its program.
I think many LSU fans and Bama fans believed that after the NCG, Bama was making several strides forward and LSU was slipping. I think Sat. proved that wasn't the case.
Question is, are you bummed that LSU is pretty much neck and neck with you and will be for quite a while? or are you excited that this is turning into a legitimate rivalry and doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon?
I for one am glad to have this rivalry. Exciting shite worthy of the year-long countdown.

I don't think they're bummed about winning.

I like all teams in the SEC to be good except for.......the obvious.
LSU is a great team. It is fun.....hair raising but fun

They will always think they are far superior, it's a requirement to be a Bama fan.

Shouldn't you be boxing some happy meals?

LSU has a great coach and a great program. They'll be a very tough team to beat next year, just like they are this year.
However, to say they are neck-and-neck with Alabama right now is not accurate. Bama has won two national championships in three years and is undefeated this year.

Sorry bro, trophy or not, we dont think about the Arky game as a rivalry. We never have. It's a forced one with a retarded trophy.

Competition is a good thing, always a good thing. All of this not pulling for so and so and wishing others never win - are we okay with SEC slipping into mediocrity?

I have always liked LSU because I grew up and still hope y'all beat Auburn and Florida every year.As far as the last decade LSU has usually been Bama's toughest game.I have no dislike for LSU,y'all are just in Bama's way every season.I respect the hell out of LSU.

Y'all are never on the same page. I thought LSU was only going to get better after last year? I don't remember anyone who thought they'd slip. Injuries and dumbasses on the team have really hurt. Idkif LSU is slipping. Alabama is better than most thought they'd be. I think it's fun as hell when both are very good.

Great program. Lacks discipline, but hell even Saban couldn't get the kids to stop making moronic penalties. JC Copeland shouldnt be allowed to play after his Ryan Pugh like play this whole season. I think the undisciplined part is probably just part of the rowdy culture Louisiana embraces.
If a coach can't recruit to LSU in that hotbed of a state, then he isn't even talking to recruits.

Disagree with last post. The programs are absolute equals.

I worry like hell about LSU for about 3 weeks out of the year before the game. If we lose I stay pissed for about 2 weeks then its over and done.
I hate Auburn 365.

No team can be the best team every year.
I felt like Bama was the better team last year even though they lost to LSU (the best team doesn't always win)
I felt LSU would be the better team this year and would win the BCSNG and am a little surprised they didn't live up to that this year.
I like and prefer the BIG games - saturday was the most fun game of the season for me. That game defines why college football is better IMO than the NFL.
So, to answer your question, I say load up and bring it on!

^^This
There has to be a champion and a challenger.Right now both programs fit that mold.

Agreed. You could also point out that Les Miles has one undefeated regular season in 7 (*8) seasons as the LSU head coach, while Nick Saban has 2 going on 3 undefeated regular seasons in 5 (*6) seasons. Very big difference. Alabama wasn't established in 2007. There are other major differences too.
