I know it isnt going to happen, but how would you feel if LSU got a do over? Of course you would rather an easy oregon, kstate, or notre dame team.

I said in the other thread that was just made about this, that if LSU hadn't lost to Florida, and if other unbeaten teams were beaten, I'd be fine with it.

Bama's got to get to the big game first. Then I'd be for playing the 2nd best team in the country.

Would welcome it. I don't think your offense can do that again.

LSU won't get one with 2 losses. Bama only had 1 last year. That said, Bama would cover the spread in a rematch.

In terms of thinking it were fair - I wouldn't have a problem with it. We were the benefactor of the same scenario last year.

In terms of being "scared to play LSU again" - I'd feel more confident about a 2nd game this year than I was last year. We'd win a re-match by 3+ touchdowns.

I'd feel like it was warranted. However the loss to Florida when you had all those injuries is what is eliminating the possibility. That and several still undefeateds, but LSU would be ahead of some of them in the polls if it weren't for Florida.

I would welcome it. You played us as close as you possibly could saturday night. I'm confident we would win the next one by a larger margin, because deep down, I know we are the better team. That's the difference between us this year, and y'all last year btw.

I have no problem at all with it. It will be extremely difficult to pull off with two losses, though.

I would feel great about it. Miles amd LSU gave BAMA everything they had and came up short. Saban would massacre Miles in a rematch.

If we had stuck with running the ball we would have won by three TDs Saturday night!

LSU did however play a great game, just over their head!

Honestly, I'd be a little torn about it much like y'all were last year. Ultimately though, it's supposed to come down to the two best teams playing for it all. I will always believe that the two right teams played in the BCSC game last year but I can fully understand why you would feel that you shouldn't have had to face Bama again after winning at Bryant Denny.

Great game by LSU by the way. Y'all should be proud.

Depends. I think that the 2 best teams should play in the NC. That is the idea behind the whole thing after all. If LSU's offense looks like that the rest of the year, I would want to see LSU again if both teams win out.

All for it, play the best to be the best. The better question would be how would we deal with it if we lost round two?

If LSU hadn't lost to Florida they'd still be in the top 5. My guess is they'd be ahead of ND at #4. They'd still need K State and Oregon to lose. Assuming there were a pack of 1 loss teams at the top, LSU should definitely get a rematch. Personally I'd love to see a rematch particularly at a neutral site away from Louisiana and Alabama. New Orleans wasn't exactly a neutral site. Would've been like playing in Birmingham for LSU fans.
