Never been an Aggie hater (aside from the occasional fishing) or one of those who thought A&M would come in and be a doormat in the SEC but I must say I didn't expect this in the first season. Seems like Sumlin/KK and Manziel came in at the perfect time and the Ags will have a solid team for years to come. Still have to get over the LSU/Bama hump that haunted us for the last few years but as of now looks like Sumlin has you going in the right direction. Hope we make a solid hire as well in a month and make the next few years in this series entertaining again. Also looking forward to getting the game back here in DFW where it belongs.

I think Arkansas needs to go offensive again with their hire...compete in the 2-4 SEC West spot with Offense, use recruiting to rebuild the D

Blech. I'm not a fan of neutral site games. The games seem to lose so much of the experience when compared to on campus games.

I just don't know, Petrino was literally the best offensive coach we could've gotten and he still couldn't get us over the hump. Don't get me wrong, I'd take 10 wins every damn year but he went 0-4 against Saban.
I'm starting to think we'd be better off with a defensive guy who can recruit Texas like Tubs or Patterson so we can win ugly, low scoring games from time to time instead of just trying to outscore teams in a shootout.

I just like the exposure it gives us in DFW, you guys don't need it as much as we do but I'm sure it doesn't hurt your recruiting either. Plus the crowds are usually split 50/50 and the atmosphere is generally friendly and enjoyable.

no doubt. Playing at 11am each of the last two years has really sucked the life out of the series.
I'm not a fan of neutral site games but it is what it is. Hopefully when we go back to Jerryworld we can get a decent time and make it a more interesting series

Love you too, sexy. Also glad about getting that game back in Dallas. It is going to do wonders for both of our programs, and really help the SEC gain momentum in the metroplex. I see that Jerry World game being an SEC-centric game for all SEC fan base transplants to attend, and an important tradition to establish.

Your next coach will have Texas(especially DFW) ties, or at least the majority of the staff he brings on will.
