An observation after having seen both teams play A&M:
Ole Miss players--from the start of the game to the end--played their asses off. State players seemed to give up after the first A&M score. The difference in attitude was night & day.

Seem to be pretty close so far. I still think State wins the Egg bowl based off of we have more depth. We are better than we played yesterday I believe our team was still going through the motions from the Bama game.
Plus we all know State will play their best game against OM, we do it every year. I think if both teams play their best game State is the better team based off depth.
Ole Miss can be competitive playing on emotion but depth hurts them in the end. This really showed against UGA. And Transitive property needs to be kept out of this thread because it is an irrelevant argument. Just look at Florida barely losing to Mizzou, getting destroyed by UGA but beat LSU and USCe. You can't predict anything based off common opponents.
The egg bowl will be a hard fought game, with both teams being bowl eligible for the first time since 2000. (assuming OM beats Vandy). State will likely be 8-3 going into the egg bowl, we will beat Arkansas imo.

I thought OM fans were above such petty obsession? That is what they've been telling us for the last 3+ seasons. If you were going to be sessed, surely you would do it for your real rival LSU?
