This is the first game this season that I didn't feel like either side

Of the ball improved.

My optimism has grown week to week with Hugh, but the only thing I felt good about yeSteday was our DL pressure and DL shutting down the run fairly well.

That was the worst I've seen our offense look and while I understand our secondary woes, I still was disappointed in Trae and Charles.

How we respond this Saturday will tell us a lot. Vandy beat the dog shite out of UK and our team should see that and realize that will have to play great Saturday to win. More than half this team has never beaten Vanderbilt.

Did you guys see anything positive to take from the game other than DL?

For me that about sums it up... I mean our pass rush was pretty good and everything but all other facets of our game just wasn't where we have been post Bama

They played at 100% and we played at 100%. They are more talented, experienced and have much more depth. That's why we got our asses kicked.

Gotta be able to react before thinking and our young guys were badly fooled by the play action. That can be taught thru repetition, etc. so I am not too worried about that. DL has been a bright spot tho.

Georgia is big, fast, and deep and we were able to hang for a half until we were completely gassed. This team kinda reminds me of the early Tubberville teams, good for a half before they are completely tired out. I was not happy about the Freeze hire, but he was hired and all he promised this year is that the team would play for 60 minutes. Texas pushed our shite in and we still came out ready to play the next week. If we come out ready to play against Vandy, I'll consider that he has done his job. Maybe I am just pessimistic or seen too many shitty Ole Miss teams to get my hopes up.

But to answer some positives about the game, uhh, nothing like an asswhipping to stem the tide of any stupid chest thumping by shitty fans

It's gonna take a great effort for us to pick off Vandy.

With that said, if we lose to Vandy, the optimism and buzz surrounding the program will be taken down a notch.

THIS IS A MUST WIN

I think people are getting greedy, preseason if you said we win 5 games then get blown out by Georgia in the second half after competing hard for the first half I think 99% of the fans would've said sign me up.

But yeah our secondary needs some players ASAP. Georgia has way more talent and it showed in the second half.

If we don't fumble that ball on the 19 yard line and we punch it in the go up 17-7, I think the offense would not have folded.

Yea I think we are playing with house money at this point. The program is already made a huge stride in the last year. We are trending upwards. Even if we loose out we still will be trending upwards. We also could have one of the best classes Ole Miss has ever had. (Call it a moral victory if you want, but it is the state of Ole Miss football right now.)

Georgia took it to us because they were more talented just about everywhere on the field. They exploited our weaknesses on defense and manhandled our O line on offense. Coaching can't overcome that large of a difference of talent/experience. We have some young talent and more should be on the way.

Might be a stretch. if we lose to Vandy or state I'll be disappointed. I'm happy we were able to catch arky and auburn while they were in a down year. That has done so much for us.

I was most disappointed in the offense. Outside of the first half against Arkansas, they've been really bad

This offense revolves around the running game. Don't worry we will move the ball on vandy especially on the ground. Also vandy o should not be able to pass on us like Murray did.

We are all forgetting that this is Freeze's first season. By rights, we SHOULD be 3-6 with the utter and complete shite show he walked into.

The fact that he's already won 5 games, 2 of them SEC games is gravy. If we lose out, but still play hard and look decent against LSU and State, we have nothing... NOOOOOOTTTHHHHHING to bitch about.

I'm not talking about hanging our hat on moral victories, I'm talking about managing expectations. Some early season success is already going to our heads. Let's remember that we are in the first year of a new HFC and a new AD. As long as the product on the field improves little by little, that's all we can ask until year 3 or 4.

State fans let 2 years of mediocre success go straight to their heads. They were/are embarrassing the shite out of themselves with outrageous expectations and baseless predictions. Let's not be the same fanbase here, huh?

This will sound cheesy as frick but to take a quote from Freezus, We as fans need to focus on how our team performs, 60 minutes and 1 Saturday at a time. Once the season is over, we'll look at our record and evaluate Freeze using ALL THE AVAILABLE DATA. Until then, we should focus on each game individually and forget about predictions, expectations or records.

I don't care how bad we lose or how close we win any game this season or in 2013. He deserves a clean start. If he's still making dumb play calls, we still have the same talent and depth issues and we are not winning more games by the end of the 2014 season, then we can BEGIN to evaluate our expectations and predictions. Until then, saying things like "must win game" and "we better beat _______ or I'll be pissed" or "I expect/predict we beat (blank SEC team)" is completely useless, pointless and borders on arrogant.

We should be reasonable ... if only because we have those feelings that we think we can win. We haven't had that in two years and Freeze did it his first year here let's give him time and see what happens

If we could beat arky away we can beat Vandy. It was arrogant to think we could hang with Georgia, but Vandy is nowhere near that level. Even with depth issues we match up with Vandy just fine.

I'll give you that. I'm just speaking in generalities.

Sayin any game is a must have or gotta win for Freeze should be frowned upon both this season and next. I think.

I'm upset when ever we lose, and to say that I shouldn't be is absurd. No I'm not pissed when we get beat by Georgia or Bama but I was pissed at Freeze for fricking up the TAMU game.

I am exerting patience with the guy, and think he's doing a fine job.

I also feel however that for as much praise as he's getting its okay to criticize him as we'll.

I feel like you should be disappointed any time you lose if you care about the team and there's nothing wrong with that.

I'd also like to say that I'm ecstatic about the way this year has gone, but being disappointed is part of losing and there's nothing wrong with that.

I thought our D played really well in the 1st half, save the 2 busted plays. We were never able to recover after the 2nd TD. I think if we scored before the half instead of that TO we would have made a better game of it.

Just rember where we were last year, UGA just had way more talent and depth than us. Keep your head up!!! I don't think any of us were expecting a bowl this year and we can clinch on Saturday! A
