Alabama beats a top 5 team, through adversity, and gets even less respect

These boards are hilarious. The big knocks on alabama were that they had A. not played anyone, and B. not won a tough game. Well, we did both last night, and now you would think we were the worst team that ever played. We are taking crap from lsu & aTm fans, whos teams both lost to friggin florida. LSU played a great game, so congrats. now you know what it feels like to let one slip through your fingers. but anyone with half a football brain knows that bama could have just as easily dominated you if things had played out a little differently. we were about to go up 21-10. we were running on you at will, 7ypc. if alabama gets even a field goal there instead of a fumble, and then keeps feeding the run, the score would have looked like pretty much everyone was predicting.
and for those that think our d is now suspect, think about the game this way. LSU scored 17 points in 40 minutes of possession. alabama scored 21 points in 20 minutes of possession. alabama's defense allowed .35 points per minute of possession, lsu allowed almost 3 times that. any defense is going to get tired if the have to play for 40 minutes, but allowing only 17 points in those circumstances, with mett going nuts, is an astounding feat of defense.

I think you are the best team in the best team in the country. I Don't think you are an all time great team though. But it was a good game. I think you win out.

Dude even though I hate Bama ya'll are good.
Here is the problem we have with ya'll since Saban has taken over.
The only top 5 team you beat is us (half the time lol) other than beating Clemson, Georgia 4 years ago, and Florida with Tebow, Texas ya'll only have 4 wins against top teams.

I think the lack of respect comes from the Alabama fans talking about being able to beat NFL teams, yet last night needed a late TD drive to beat a college team.

Eh, Bama is a good team, but that stigma of almost being unbeatable is now gone. I think bama will win out, but I wouldn't be surprised if they drop one to A&M, Georgia, or their bowl game.

No doubt LSU threw everything at us and Mett became a Man for y' all last night. Please Remember always no matter which team involved....The Championship Caliber team finds a way to turn a Lemon into Lemonade....That is what Alabama did last night. Both of your 2 biggest rivals have sucked the PAST 7 years. Tennesse is hot garbage, and Auburn had 1 good season and you lost that game! You have ZERO competition but us.
