In the midst of discussing the game,
Jay Barker-Evans is discussing where this year's Bama team rates amongst "the greatest teams of all time".....

Uh, guys. Learn from our own pain from last year.

Or don't.

It's too early to be talking about that shite- especially headed into the breech that will be Tiger Stadium this Saturday Night.

See you Saturday.

Jay Barker thinks Alabama would beat New England in Foxboro.

Jay Barker is miserable to listen to on the radio, as is that entire show. Barker just mumbles and "uhs" around, Del Greco whines about everything and takes 3 minutes to ask a question to a guest, and Tony just yells about random stuff.

Oh, and none of them have any clue as to what they're talking about. And if they get off the subject of college football and try to talk any other sport, good God it gets ugly.

I can't stand that either, about the only thing I can listen to on Birmingham sports radio is the Roundtable on JOX and podcast interviews from Finebaum's show.

inductive logic isn't infallible.

I stand by my remarks made Sunday morning - "the line should be around 9.5 and LSU will lose by double digits. This is not as good of an LSU team as the fans "wish" it to be. LSU fans willing them to be good won't make it so.

The worst part of LSU being an average team, is the rest of us have to suffer through the meltdown Saturday night. So for taking the message boards offline.

God I hate that show. Count how many times Jay says "as far as" in a given interview. The man has no talent for radio - NONE. His only qualification is that he is a former athlete. That just pisses me off.

On top of that, the entire show preaches at you non-stop. I hardly ever turn it on any more, and every time I do, I wonder why I was stupid enough to do it again.

Very good show. Only local radio show worth listening to.

that show is amazing. Barker is dumb as a post, Del Greco has the personality of a stop sign and Kurre wants to be in porn.

Yet they have incredible ratings.

I like Scott Griffin on 97.3,but Scarbinsky thinks he knows everything,so typically don't listen to local sports.

Just put it on.

Hosts seem to be okay...The callers?

"LSU don't stands a CHANNNCE!" (Per some guy named "Jerome")

I love it- thanks for the heads up....I saved the channel to my iPhone. I can't help it- I love this kind of shite....It's reasurring to know that we aren't the only fan base with fans that are nutjobs...

Scott Griffin is a douche bag.

The round table on jox at 10 til 2 is the only show worth listening to.

Okay- but I'll pass the word along to Miles that they should just go ahead and play the game, anyway.

Not totally doubting what you are saying but so often when people run to the internet to post a slight against their team, they leave out important qualifiers. Knowing Jay Barker's reputation, I'd be shocked if he didn't qualify the statement with "IF Alabama runs the table" where would they rank all time.

I admit that I don't know much about his reputation (other than he has a really hot, famous wife , and seems to be a decent guy), but he's brought up the subject multiple times this morning.

I don't really take it as a slight against LSU, for the record. Alabama has a great-looking team, so it's hard to resist bringing such topics up- it happened over here last year. I'm just saying it's probably best to discuss that sort of thing after the job is complete. But I guess that's why they call it "sports talk"...

This, I totally agree with. They need to take a page from Ro's book. They ain't won shite yet. Still alot of ball to be played.

Of course, this is just the fans talking and not the players.
