TiggerWoods posted about Bama cheating for players grades. TiggerWoods is an Auburn fan. Auburn actually graduated a player that was found to be ILLITERATE by a court of law.
Any time a bama fan brings up Auburn paying for players I will just remind them of Albert Means and that should settle the argument.

This thread was Alabama related and you had to bring Auburn up.

Who on here is Brad Lowery. And sounds like tigerbait has some other issues if he is trolling ESPN the Magazine's web site. That is the most homoerotic website on the interwebz. I got rid of my ESPN Insider account because they kept sending that gay arse magazine to my house.

Ah yes...a good BAMA Auburn argument.
The glaring thing to me is the pattern of butthurt and the vindictive actions by the Pensacola folks about losing their athletes, and not just Paige.
Did BAMA's guy do something wrong? He may have but this is certainly on the radar now and if he did, it'll come out. Advising a kid to go where he can become eligible sounds like good advise.
Looks like the NCAA is trying to tighten up on high schools in general.

It is actually not about grades but about number of credits. Paige needs more credits than were offered at the one school so he transferred to a school that had a different class schedule so he could get 8 credits instead of the 6 available.

Boycott Al.com (Auburn Rag)
Can't believe they are posting this stuff... must be that Auburn editor... they hate Alabama...
This is a witch hunt, Coach Watson said the NCAA looked into it...
Just look at this headline...
NCAA declines comment as it reportedly investigates Alabama commit Darius Paige
Reporter Jason Blakeney who originally reported the story for the PNJ wrote in an email to al.com, "Folks down here who were willing to tell us the NCAA was coming in weren't willing to go into many specifics. But considering who was sent, it would appear they are taking the matter pretty seriously."
Foley High School athletic director and head football coach Todd Watson said the NCAA has not contacted the school.
"This case is over and done with," Watson said. "The AHSAA and NCAA have both looked into his transfer and found nothing wrong."

The part of the article you left out....
NCAA compliance expert John Infante, author of the Bylaw Blog, said the details of the PNJ's report seem to point to improprieties of some kind, but that the NCAA's first task would likely be to gather information about what could be a confusing case.
"At this point, I think the NCAA is trying to get a handle on what is going on," Infante said. "There are enough questions that the NCAA has a good argument for getting involved.
"I think the questions they want to answer right now is: Who was involved in this transfer? What happened as he left Washington? What happened as he got to Foley? Why did he transfer?"
Infante points out that even if Pruitt did suggest to Paige that he should transfer for academic purposes, it still would not be considered an NCAA violation.
"Now if the answers are 'Alabama told him to transfer to fix his academics' that is not by itself a problem. The biggest thing I think the NCAA is after is some background information for when Paige has to be certified academically."

Bama's compliance department is second to none these days. I wish the bitter folks down in Pensacola the best of luck.

Trent richardson took ACT 5 times and never made above 16! So how did he get into college? This was in article.

Well...that was in the article in the sense that the AD (important note: not the AD at Trents school) posting on a message board said it...not that the paper confirmed that.
Also, isn't a 16 or so the cut-off for an athletic scholly? It isn't like the "student-athletes" have to get a 36 or something..

Did Jeremy Pruitt kidnap the kid and transport him across state lines without his parents consent? I would think his parents/parent would have to sign the papers.

The only other academic information in any post by Faucheaux came in 2009 when Trent Richardson signed with Alabama. In the post, Faucheaux said Richardson had “taken the ACT 5 times, and his highest score is a 16.”
Faucheaux told investigator John Hobbs, who conducted the school district’s investigation, that he did not access Richardson’s grade through school district computers. He said he collected the information through recruiting websites, such as rivals.com.
You're a dumbass
but seriously
Lots and lots of butthurt in that article and this thread.
