* I've seriously wanted to use this for all the shite I've ever heard for talking about two UK championships (previous to this last season) I've seen in my lifetime and in the modern era, but have had to hear that shite.

So last season?
Elite Eight appearance by the Gators > whatever Mizzou did.

I don't think so. Would have been great if it did.
That is really sad as it would have looked better than some of these ACC feeds. Lord they had the Tar Heel players in tutu's. I can only imagine Duke being gayer than that.

What tourney? I went to NOLA for the championship...did not go to Gary...because it was in Gary.
I do follow softball, like the HC....
Baseball is my thing, counting the days for the Deck...they will be damn good this year.

I know it's a Cal team, but you guys look young and by young I mean like a normal college team. . . am I imagining things?

Translation: no Florida never sells this kind of even out for basketball either and I'm still living in the past. Gotcha.
Mizzou is pretty bad about enforcing not letting upper deck people move down and in early season games against scrubs when there are fat cat rich seat no shows from STL and KC ticket holder than has been a sore point in our new arena that they don't let upper deck fans move down. I don't know what the policy was for this event other than to tell you that the wide shots showed people sitting in our upper deck despite the lower deck open seats here and there that you note, so that'd blow the attendance theory aside.
At any rate, attendance smack in the SEC about a midnight madness event is rather lame. Who gives a shite. If Florida or Arky's events were so great ESPN was welcome to feature them but they didn't, and probably for a reason.

They are young...very young.

Yes.
They had already have an almost two hour practice earlier today to actually kick off the season. They looked about like Davis and Co. did on opening night. We'll know more once they have the Blue/White Scrimmage but I do agree that they're young.

Oh christ here we go how predictable. Here I will respond to your shite assertion without even involving your shite team:
In 2002, Mizzou had a team that dicked around all year, played horrid defense and did not rebound, finished 6th in the Big 12, and barely made the Big Dance as one of the last 4 teams selected as a 12 seed. That regular season shitty 12 seed Mizzou team got hot and advanced to the Elite Eight.
Not a single Mizzou fan or any fan I know would take that team, Elite Eight and all, over last season's 30-5 Mizzou team. None. The Big Dance breeds insane upsets year in and year out. Last year it was Duke and Mizzou's turn within hours of each other. But the overall accomplishments of the teams were better than many an Elite Eight random run team. Florida was mediocre as frick the whole regular season long, and yeah I'd take my 30-5 team over that.

Is this a regular season game? Usually public events like this are straight up GA(because I am assuming it's free). Therefore the arena would most definitely fill up from the bottom up.

Both were over rated and made some coin if you picked against them.

Lulz on the softball stadium....the contractors better get their shite together. The field is torn to shite.
The new track is suppose to be the bomb...I guess the new coach is pretty damn good and is pulling talent.
By the way, the admin. going to get it together and have a plan for state authorities to get the bonding for the baseball stadium and football improvements?

Didn't watch long but seeing them I can see why everyone is saying no repeat this year *but frick you cause this means you'll at least make the Sweet 16 while we're praying to make he NIT*
SN: With everything going on at UNC, has Roy Williams not been implicated? (try not to go conspiracy on me UK fans )

Well, for the season Mizzou was 4-1 against teams that made the Elite Eight. So how is that overrated?

Post season is where it counts. Just ask the St. Louis Cardinals. I doubt you'd trade some NL Central titles for the WS titles that were won when the Cardinals were the Wild Card.

I think MU's best team ever lost on a fluke in Richmond in 90. That team was loaded and that sleazy pos Jason Reese beat both Missouri teams on same type of play back to back.
I like how people look at a 6 game run as the whole season.
I think 90 or 91 was year that the Big 8 thought they would get all 8 teams in.
