I wasn't here in 2007, but growing up in the Gene Stallings era and expecting to win and then having to endure the Mike Shula era, it feels very redeeming.

Don't play all innocent after coming in here with your passive aggressive bitchy question.

You knew exactly what you were implying.

Had Saban not became HC at bama then the SEC Rant most likely wouldn't exist today.

The most annoying part of Alabama's low pointw in the early 2000s was how rival fans acted like we were incapable of ever getting back and doomed to doormat status as a program from now on. Rival fans acted like we were frickin bats### crazy for daring to think a coach of Saban's caliber who was coaching in the NFL would give us the time of day. When he did take the job people flipped out instead of admitting they were wrong. The atttitude from rival fans thinking we should stick with Shula because that's the best we should hope for was really annoying too.

No it wasn't - you're just too fricking sensitive.

Yes it was. You would have gone a little more incognito if you hadn't tried to be cute and mentioned that you expected 0% of us to be honest. Amateur move. Next time you want to troll, play your cards a bit closer to your vest.

You kept writing 2005 as if your join date on SEC Rant were any indication as to when you started watching games

So, wait. Let me make sure I have this logic right. I joined a college football board before I started watching the games...?

Really?

I basically came on and asked a pretty simple question. You and a couple others decided to take it personally as if I had insulted your significant others. See previous post (defensive, sensitive).

2007 was brutal on here. I'm not going to lie the huge turnaround and the shifting of the flaming from 07 to 09 was something to behold. 09 was glorious on here. But, yeah, it's good to be the king.

I'll never forget, NO HARDWARE.

So true. They HAD to do something to get all the Bama fans off the Tiger Rant.

I'd be curious to know how many of these Alabama fans regularly watched/went to games before Saban's arrival.

Do you regularly switch teams when a coach is hired? I remember losing to Bo and being mad. I was in awe of DT. I caught flack in high school when Bama lost to Miami. I returned the favor when Bama stomp Miami's arse.
