You realize he's been hurt right?

I don't expect A.J. to be in the Heisman discussion, much less make it to New York for the ceremony. However, he can be the best QB in the SEC.

Tyler Wilson doesn't do anything better than AJ.
Wilson had 4 WRs last year that will play in the NFL along with a good pass catching TE.
Tyler Wilson is right there with AJ, but without that superior personnel I've seen nothin to suggest he is better. AJ has equal arm, equal mobility, equal command of the offense, but seems to be having a breakout year while Wilson seems to be taking a step back without those WRs and Petrino.

LOL, Wilson on our team wouldn't be able to put up the numbers to be a Heisman finalist. No chance.

Most Bama fans on here will hate you ,if you post general consensus.

This wouldn't surprise me at all.

Agree, and it's free!

I think AJ is a really good QB, but it's hard to compare to other QB's when he's had so much talent around the last two years.

Natural selection will catch up with Bhamdore one day

A.J. continues to impress. I haven't read this entire thread, but I'm going to guess opposing fan still don't want to admit his talent. Most rather still see us as a run-base offense. That isn't going to be the case under Doug Nussmeier. We're very multi-faceted and balanced as ever.
Not at all. With TWilson hurt, most fans have acknowledged that he will be ALL-Sec, but that he isn't better than TWilson.

Well, it's just what is being derived from 3 games. I can see this conversation say in mid November...but now?

I thought he might be Alabama's first 3,000 yard passer, but we may be in too many blowouts for him to put up those numbers. But he'll set the record for TDs and passing efficiency for the program, at the rate he's going.

I still think Wilson's the best QB in the SEC but he could be hurt by how bad his team is. Regardless, McCarron's underrated by many on here.
And no QB could win the Heisman for this team. You just can't put up the numbers when you have a great running game and most games are over by the midway point of the third quarter.

Three games? A.J. impressed last year, but wasn't given much respect because of the talent around him and an unreal defense. He had an amazing showing in the BCS title game, but again most people pointed to the running game. A.J. is off to an even better start in 2012. Like I said, I don't expect him to win a Heisman, but he is becoming one of the best QBs in the country.
