Mett will cost probably cost LSU the Bama game. This Bama defense isnt as stingy, but way more opportunistic. Turnovers come easy for this team.

Kinda like the op? No way , at this point, MCCANNON is a good as TWilson?
Although I would agree that McCarron is not as good as Tyler Wilson, there is at least an argument because McCarron's record as a starter and how he looks this year.

Jordan Jefferson had a great record at LSU, so you are saying we can compare him to Tyler Wilson also.

No he won't. At this point , if you say AJ is a 1st rd pick, you're nothing but a homer. Not one mock draft has him higher than a 3rd rd pick.

Ban bet on that ricky? An april-september hiatus from the rant if AJ mccarron isn't a first round pick when he enters the draft

Read what I said. I never said that records are everything, and I did say that I think McCarron was not as good as Wilson. I also think you missed the part where I said "how he looks this year." JJ never looked like he was a good QB. AJ appears to be pretty good.

What's this based on?

People saw tyler wilson light up auburn as a backup and made their decision on him from that game going forward. OMG TW is gonna be the best. And he has been an outstanding quarterback, but AJ is every bit the talent. 6'4" big arm and here's the kicker, he doesn't make mistakes. 26 touchdowns to 5 interceptions is all I need to know. He can make all the throws and refuses to put his team in a bad situation. I value that more than a guy like wilson, who does force the ball sometimes. I guess it comes down to what you want in a quarterback, but I'm struggling to find one thing I can point to and say, "tyler wilson is better than AJ at _________"

My reasoning is based on what they are asked to do. Wilson is asked to throw the ball a lot more than McCarron.

McCarron is not good enough to go to the pros right now. He needs another year. Mostly because we don't have anybody behind him worth a crap.
