It doesn't pay to attack reporters who have the ability to fight back. Nick needs to rethink his processes.

Sorry about the lack of info...laughing too much. See front page of ESPN.com

A reporter said something bad about Saban? Oh, God, no!

Kill yourself. No, like seriously do it.

Some of you really do seem to have missed what an incredible gift it is for sports journalist when coaches go on these type of rants. Reilly took advantage and has a short, entertaining article. Good for him.
Everybody benefits from Saban's rant, except WKU. They probably won't.

someone making 5 mil plus a year really cares what a national reporter thinks or writes.

Why can't bammers ever let anything negative or entertaining be said of saban? You gotta at least laugh at how tightly wound he is. He could have a brain hemorrhage at any moment! Just keep ems close by at all times.

Not uncommon for ESPN, but these days its usually to provide a service.

If Little Nicky doesn't care bout the national media, then why doesn't he take them on like he does the locals? He never talks this way to ESPN or any of the national sports outlets. He knows he has the locals completely browbeaten & can & does treat them like his red headed step son. His farewell press conference when he left LSU was down in Fla. for the bowl game & he was surrounded by the local, then adoring local media. His final press conference when he left the Fins was in Alabama, when he was again surrounded by the local media who treated him like a god. He's a media prick; unfortunately, he is also a great college football coach.

He was your loyal coach for 5 years and started the foundation that you enjoy today...plus gave you a NC....why do a lot of coonasses diss on him so much...As a Bama fan I dont care what media types say about him...Good, bad, or indifferent. It is the non Bams that like to point out the negative like it is going to sink or lower the program to some point.

Move along. Nothing to see here. This isn't another LSU poster obsessed with Bama.

I don't dislike Nick. He's trying to keep his team grounded, and I can respect that. He's getting the media attention off of his guys and onto himself.
I'm extremely grateful for what he did for LSU and wish he never would have left for Miami, but what's done is done. I'm happy with Les and I know he would do the same thing for his guys...albeit in a much less prickish way.
