Not only do colleges have to evaluate kids for 3+ years in HS. Now they have to evaluate portal players. Why are they leaving, are they worth the money, do they fit our needs! Different times now.

Fall stats can be deceiving but encouraging. For example, Schmidt gave up hits but I am sure the goal was for him to focus on hitting the zone.

Did you like him before LSU hired him? He was ole piss coach beating out arse. No I didn’t like him. Thought he was a great coach but mixed at how I could embrace him as our coach. All the hate is helping me do that.

It feels like both are gone but fingers crossed. We didn’t hire him to be great in 2026 but who knows. Shouldn’t be hard to get the replacements for the future. LSU + LK + $ should attract premier coordinators.
