Saban USES the media. They respect what he has done, I don't think anyone questions he is a great coach but HE created the arrogance, NOT the media. He uses the truth when it suits him.
...best sixth post ever.

If ESPN comes to this forum for talking points and headline titles then I have lost faith in humanity.

Saban is completely disingenuous, he was shameless in his promotion of Alabama last year at the price of being unfair to a team that had the right to play for the title, Oklahoma State. Where was his concern for fair play and the other guys then???? Geaux Tigers, we earned the right to play for the title just like the Pokes did.
We thought Alabama/LSU was going to be the most fair matchup, until your team rolled over and handed us the title like a whimpering dog. Thanks, though.

Another example of Nick's lack of concern for fair play. Will it ever end?

Outstanding. Love the way Saban approaches things.

WoW that is such an original statement, we've never seen such enlightened and insightful commentary here before.
Get the frick over it already.

With a good portion of last Mon. on several sports radio outlets bemoaning the OK.ST. beat down of a JUCO team, I just think Saban is getting ahead of the story for this upcoming Monday. Good strategy IMO. Especially after the whooping of Mich. Although I think he could have done it with more tact. But hey it is what makes Saban, Saban.

This is why Saban will never be a good Pro coach.

I bet he'd win in a secret ballot by the media. I personally would go with Rush Limbaugh, as both the biggest PRICK and the BIGGEST prick.

Another reason the Miami media detests him is that he claims the Fins did not take Drew Breeze because the team's medical staff would not give final clearance. And everyone knew that Saban had full control & final sayso over everything to do with the team. He made a bad decision & the Fins are still struggling with it.
