if you post it 6 more times, it's still false.

Since when did the best defense ever surrender 100+ rushing yards just like they did in 3 of the previous 4 years?

Well LSU can't make this argument then, since they gave up over 300 rushing yards to AU in 2010. Nice logic.

I would like anyone on this thread to clarify how they passed the 50 personally or contributed to the success or the non success of that particular game. People that get their identity or self worth from the success or unsuccess of a football team. Yay. God, why do I even come back here.

In that case, we need to shut down this entire board. None of us have contributed on the field personally. Great argument.

You gumps fap to this or something? You can tell me all about the championship game and not crossing the 50, but have a sudden onset of amnesia when talking about LSU beating you in your beloved Bryant Denny just months before.

I guess it's true though, that gumps can't admit defeat

You didn't get this from winning in November.

the 2011 Bama defenses outclasses the 2001 Miami defenses in all categories.

The 2011 Canes had the best secondary of all time and it's not close.

This arguments are always flawed. The majority of Alabama's 2011 defense has yet to even get their NFL careers started. The 2001 Miami defense will have their NFL careers projected into this argument. I mean, in the end this is about the NFL draft and the transition to the NFL.

Team A : beat 5 ranked teams and 6 with a winning record

Team B: beat 2 ranked teams and 3 with winning record.

Which team has a better resume, which is how every BCS title game participant , ever , has been selected?

Then come back in ten years and tell us 2011 is better.

For now, the Canes get the nod.

I'm already back at my assembly line. Your deep fry station is still waiting on you to report though.

According to who? A couple of corndogs on an LSU board?

The numbers say otherwise, and that's the ultimate judge at the end of the day.

Are you still trying to make a case for Oklahoma State? After we beat you like a rented mule? What is the point in that? I mean, you might have a point if it was a close game and had a controversial call, but it didn't play out like that.

The numbers? So you think comparing stats from playing two diff schedules tells to something? Gumps are dumber than I thought. The best offense Bama played last year was a Jordan Jefferson led LSU.

I certainly understand arguments for the Bama defense. However, I would certainly take the Miami secondary and offense.

And you think a Big East schedule in 2001 was tougher than an SEC slate in 2011?

Agreed, but as a defensive unit, anyone with a brain would take 2011 Bama D.
