You do realize that half of our D sat out that game to rest for the Iron Bowl, right?
So you're saying your starters this year will suck? Got it.

That's why they play the games ...nov. 3rd we'll see what's what.

We're not talking about LSU's D last year. We're talking about Alabamas
read the thread title and ask yourself why this thread even has bama in it

No most of Bama's games weren't out of hand at the half. You were tied with Tenn t the half and only led Vandy 10-0.
Any double digit lead at halftime with our D was over. And we played like it.

Every one of your posts in this thread stinks of irrelevance.
Did you read the OP?

I admit LSU backed in 07. why don't you die!

The best offense Bama played last year was a Jordan Jefferson led LSU.
If it wasn't such a ludicrously insane statement, I'd say that is sig-worthy.
Just stop.
Please.

Compared to last year? Maybe.

Bama 2011 Defense:
allowed: 8.2 ppg, 183.6 yards
led the nation in total, passing, rushing, and scoring defense.
Miami 2001 Defense:
allowed: 9.4 ppg, 270.9 yards
led the nation in scoring defense, pass defense, and turnover margin
I also feel that 2011 Bama played far superior opponents during the regular season as well as in the championship game.
It's a fair argument.

The same offense that ole miss pushed around?sorry arkansas's offense wasn't good last year. Ole miss had them 17-0. The same ole miss team that La tech destroyed at ole miss.

And most of Alabama's were not?
Alabama didn't call off the dogs like the Miami team did.

They had a bad game and still won. They were a top 10 team and their offense ranked in the top 25 nationally. I don't care about your opinion of how good they were, I, like most intelligent college football fans, look at the total numbers and stats for the year.

Well you post about me in every thread recently. JUst die! Also, JJ led offense was #2 in the sec in scoring and that arky offense was non existent against shitty teams.

BS. We could have scored 20 or more points than we did on at least half of our opponents.

Maybe you should google GOAT college football team. Miami will be mentioned often.

So Miami gave up almost 100 more yards a game against a Big East schedule. Debate over.
