Having Auburns defense consistently in the 100's in the rankings is just total crap. With the guys we are recruiting. I just dont get it
With a "defensive genius" as head coach no less. I'm amazed at some of the holes we have given 3 solid recruiting classes.....

Someone was talking about potential interview questions and teh question was brought up, "If the sky rained the Auburn Spirit, what would grow?"
I didn't realize there was a right answer until I heard
"It would grow Cam Newtons riding a fierce tiger and Bo Jackson soaring with a War Eagle and absolutely no elephants"

People were talking about crazy interview questions they heard about and someone brought up that question. Somebody else spit the Cam Newton tiger response without missing a beat
I just stood there before laughing. I mean who thinks of that?

This right here is funny because if it does happen I will not visit. I think I did the same thing last year after Clemson or Arky. Just too frickin annoying to talk about and hear the shite talk. Better beat that arse this weekend.
The issue is, we beat State and you know Arkansas is just going to take their place.
In their delusional mind they are the Big 3 and will dominate on an LSU & Bama level. Now that Clemson is a lost cause, tFlagship & Landmass are the teams I want to beat most this year.
SN: NACracker, Bama's day of reckoning is coming. But until that time why can't you & yours stay out of our thread - Or go complain on the site you & your butthurt friends created when you all ran off like a bunch (fill in the blanks)

When talking about our defense, we keeping brining up recruiting and how the D should be better as a result. The big time recruiting has been done on the offensive side of the ball. I've thought this for a couple years. This year we are finally addressing the D side, and we are doing so in a big way.
Our DT and LB recruiting has been very average, and close to below average, and that is exactly where we are struggling.

However, we have recruited some good talent at defensive tackle. Gabe Wright and Jeff Whitaker were definitely highly touted players. We got a steal in Angelo Blackson, IMO, because he's an athletic freak for 310 pounds.

You're right. We have some young DT with a lot of talent. Unfortunately, that is a position that takes a while to develop, IMO.
I would like to see Gabe and Angelo start this weekend, with Jeff rotating in.

We're missing a guy like Zach Clayton. He would clog the holes while Nick Fairley did whatever he wanted.

For all our offensive recruiting we sure can't seem to either find A.) A QB who will spread the ball around or B.) More than 1-2 WRs worth throwing to.
I almost threw something at the TV when Frazier forced that throw to Blake in the middle of 3 guys.
