Alabama DB Travell Dixon leaves the football program...

He is a JuCO transfer from Miami. Was one of the top JuCos to sign. He said its for personal/family reasons. He was really being counted on to make an impact. Big loss.

Maybe a loss for depth, but everything I read and heard the guy wasn't going to play much this season.
When you only have two to play two and one of those will be on the bench it is in your best interest to find somewhere you can play right away. Many of Saban's Juco transfers have worked out at Bama(Jessie, Cody, etc), but this one didn't. Best of luck to him.

WTF? He was the #3 JUCO player in the nation and was expected to get significant PT and possible starting time. I highly doubt he just gave up football.
