Yeah it has it's incentives but going from double digit losses to 4 wins is just as big when talking about building a program.

How? we would have beaten a quality team in BYU and a well coached team in Vandy. Terrible teams don't win those games. We would have been bad but not terrible.

I didn't feel we were close to average in 2008, I thought we were fricking terrible.

For starters, you are bat shite crazy if you believe John L. and Mullen are even near the same level.

John L best season 11 wins. Mullen best season 9 win.

I'd also pick the guy who can't beat anyone in the West outside of Ole Miss.

Do Auburn fans really want to use this as a measure of quality? Over the last four seasons, Auburn is 3-9 vs SEC West teams other than Ole Miss and State. Chizik is 3-6 over the past three seasons. Better than Mullen, but otherwise not a good record.

In all seriousness, I'd rank the entire SEC:

Saban
Miles
Spurrier
Chizik
Richt
Pinkel
Franklin
Muschamp
Mullen
Smith
Sumlin
Dooley
Phillips
Freeze

LOL, since CUsa and SEC are the same thing.

John L coaching career - 18 years
Dan Mullen coaching career - 3 years

Mullen could have one a championship with Newton. Chizik snagged* a ridiculous talent and won a championship with him in a fluke season. Franklin will end up being the best out of the 3.

Yea and being around working in a field for 18 years is a sure sign of being bad at something.

What's the logic of putting Muschamp ahead of Mullen, but behind Franklin? Just curious.
