Thomas and Reuben will make a hell of a combination.
Absolutely. I've heard very little about Thomas but would be really excited about getting these two. Would Thomas be cut out for the Sam?

Jack is probably his "natural" position. I think they were toying around with putting two pass rushers on the field at the OLB spots this fall though, so I could see him playing either. Thomas and Allen at the OLB spots would be nasty.

I have heard that there will be more pass rush with Hubbard and Dickson, both good pass rushers out of high school. Should be a welcomed change from Jerrell Harris, who never got much of one. Versatility in that position and in the rest of the LB corps could make this defense that much nastier.

I would like people to realize that we won 2 national championships with guys like Corey Reamer, Eryk Anders and Jerrell Harris playing LB for us. Not bad athletes by any means...but not even close to the beasts that Hubbard and Dickson are.

Reamer and Anders were solid players. I was ecstatic when Harris committed because I thought he would finally be a star at Sam, but he underwhelmed until the last half of last year. Just think about having a player like Upshaw on either side of guys like Mosley, Johnson and Depriest. I think that's what Dickson and Hubbard will bring.

And I know it's being discussed on the UGA Recruiting Board, but has anyone heard about Reuben Foster promising that he and Tray Matthews will play together. I was confident that RF's commitment would bring in Nkemdiche, but now it seems others are influencing him.

You guys may as well not even consider the kid a commitment. All the visits he's taking, etc, and the things he says about other schools. If I was a Bama fan, I wouldn't consider him a commitment, but that's JMO.

Recently, best friend and Bulldog commit Tray Matthews claimed that he, Foster and Norcross running back Alvin Kamara will play collegiately for the same team. Sunday, Foster said that's still the plan. "Yeah, it is," said Foster, who along with Matthews, is also being vigorously pursued by Auburn. "I'm definitely going to play with Tray - period, no matter what the school."

Well for the moment, he is. Auburn and UGA seem to recruiting the trio of Kamara, Matthews and Foster harder than Bama. I know we're interested in Kamara, but I haven't heard much about taking Matthews.

Taking? He's never been interested in Bama. You would definitely "take" him but you've never been in position to.

Thats your poor assumption. He is a tweener, not real safetly not a top linebacker. Just looks good as an athlete. Hes overrated and ive been saying this since February so its no shock on how i feel.

What's my poor assumption? That he's never been interested in Bama? That's not an assumption.

That UA would take him but I guess just because UGA wants him everybody does.

Actually, He committed to UGA over Alabama so your assumption would be an incorrect statement.

Bama offered. I really don't understand what you guys are saying.

So I do not take anything Tray says seriously especially when speaking for other recruits.
