When the challenges of coaching cfb are not as challenging as they once were, will he throw his
hat into the political ring, or will he retire to the
Lake never to be heard from again.
Me i think he goes to the lake.
But if he wants to be in the spot light he goes to espn where they got a throne waiting for him.

Shitty politician because he would alienate too many people.
However, he would make an excellent administrator.

All of the charachteristics that make Saban a great coach would make him a horrible politician.
Saban is 60 years old and loves his job. He will be at Bama for at least 5 more years. Then, at some point, he will burn out and go to the lake.

His press conferences would take too long

I don't think his style would be effective in politics. I do think he would make a very good and entertaining press secretary, though.

As a politician you have to do as told, be able to partner up and quid pro quo with your peers, and win the support of people that have no affiliation with you. I just don't see it. And really any more discussion belongs on the Poli board.
I hate politics.

Mongolian warlord? Sure. He is probably gonna go off Patrick Bateman style when he retires though.

Anyways there isn't a Poli board anymore. I don't see it on the left hand side.

He may make a good dictator. I can't imagine him pandering nearly enough to make it in our political system.
