I hope Barber likes mediocre wings and shitty service.

Their wings are mediocre, unfortunately.

With Boo Williams being Nike, do you think that'll help us any since Kansas is an Adidas school?

It can't hurt. If his camp performances bump him up a little and make him a consensus top 10 player, it will help a lot more.

Alabama in top two for elite point guard Anthony Barber
By Matt Scalici, al.com
Alabama head basketball coach Anthony Grant has already secured commitments from two elite prospects for the 2013 recruiting class but is still looking to land a top point guard.
Grant and his staff have positioned themselves well for one of the nation's best at the position as Hampton, Virginia star Anthony Barber has named the Tide one of two finalists for his services, according to BamaOnline. Sources tell al.com that Barber is scheduled to visit Tuscaloosa on Tuesday night.
"I just like Coach Grant because he keeps it real with you and he's a laid back coach," Barber said. "I think coming to Alabama would be a great fit for me because I've built a relationship with him and he likes me."
The 6-foot-1, 160-pound star named the Kansas Jayhawks as his other finalist. Barber said he plans on visiting Kansas later this summer.
Barber is rated a five-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals.com and a four-star prospect by ESPN. He is also rated the No. 2 and No. 3 point guard in the nation by 247Sports and Rivals.com, respectively. Barber said he considers himself a pass-first point guard but like Boston Celtics star Rajon Rondo, he also has the athleticism to make big plays on both ends of the floor.
"It's important to get other people involved because if you just want to score all the time, the other players can get attitudes," Barber said. "So for me, I try to get them involved first but when it's my time to score then I try to score."

Cary Clark, a guy from bamamag posted this:
Three pieces of "inside" info on the Barber visit:
1. He, Grant and most of the team ate at Buffalo Wild Wings last night.
2. He and Grant were spotted touring the campus on a golf cart w/ Grant driving.
3. He MAY have spoken to former Bama point guard Mo Williams, who was seen on campus also yesterday. The two weren't seen together publicly, but chances are high they chatted.

Gotta let the kid drive the golf cart. If he goes to Kansas, I will point to this as the turning point.
