It is to film a commercial for gameday, not for gameday to be on campus for a game

It's for a commercial, and is a great marketing opportunity for the school and by default for the sec. Army is next in line sec wise with 6000 votes.
Yeah, a lot of sec schools are already national brands, but putting down or ignoring any opportunity to promote your school is short sighted.

I might just start voting for y'all. We're dropping in the rankings everyday and I'd rather see a aTm commercial than NU. Gameday will be at LSU a lot this year anyway.

You mean SEC vs Big10? They have us properly listed as a SEC school. I agree it was a poor decision by the OP to post this here, but what happened to SEC pride and winning everything? Do you really want a Big10 school to go down as the best fan base on this? A gameday commercial isn't just promoting A&M, it also promotes the SEC.

ESPN will figure out a way to take a dump on A&M regardless. Probably best that we don't get the commercial, or they'll probably run an add about how we should have never left Texas at the alter.
