So. Many. White people.
Maybe it's just I'm a UGA fan and have never gotten excited over basketball, but I really don't get it.... So, you paid a shitload to a great coach and got a lot of one-and-done guys and won a tournament. What am I missing?

When did this become something to brag about?
That's like saying Pistol Pete was just a guy bouncing a ball.

it's still basketball.

If we won I'd be ecstatic. However, with that said, I am so glad LSU is a football school.

I just dont understand why you don't just get together with friends and party...how is it fun to gather in the street and light things on fire and vandalize property to "celebrate"
you didnt see anything near like this after LSU won the NC in 2003 or 2007 or the Saints winning the Super Bowl...everyone just goes out to bars or their friends house and has fun

Pretty cool video but the shite song ruined it. Still pissed I didn't ride up Friday and stay throughout the title game. Probably will have another chance to make it next year though

Which is exactly what most people in KY did.

So we have Aubie and LSU fans saying "it's just basketball". Let's see if we can get a USCe fan to chime in now.

At least one person was shot and dozens arrested in Lexington, Ky., early this morning as University of Kentucky students celebrated the school’s NCAA basketball championship win.
What began as a chaotic celebration quickly turned into mayhem overnight as a crowd of 15,000 people rioted in the streets after the Wildcats defeated Kansas for their eighth championship win. Fire officials in Lexington said they put out more than 40 fires, including a car, several mattresses, couches and piles of garbage that were ignited.

Me and a friend went to Bourbon after the game expecting to see some fun stuff....It was extremely disappointing.
The fact you are trying to say this is any comparison to Mardi Gras is
You can't walk on Bourbon OR the side streets during that time. One time I fell into the crowd and literally looked up and was almost at Harrah's Downtown.....I couldn't move just was being pushed along.
ETA: I didn't watch the video before I posted. Shame on me.
