No titles and no Final Fours to show for it. Sounds like Ole Miss to me. Maybe you should look into putting up some banners.

"Care about" is subjective. I try my best to keep up with most sports at UA, and obviously hope they all win. Now, with that said, I left A-Day on Saturday and walked right past the softball field without giving the game that just started a second look.
My wife and I were leaving Coleman after the UA-UF game earlier this year, and the few UF fans were talking smack after blowing us off the court. I realized that I just wasn't upset about it. I guess I'm so invested in football season in terms of time and emotion that I just can't afford to keep up as much with other sports as much.
But, if softball wins the WS, you better believe I'm wearing a damn T-shirt!

I would prefer that Alabama do well in all the sports that it participates in. With that said, I only really care enough to watch or keep up with football and basketball.
I am proud of our gymnastics and softball teams being as good as they are and hope that our other sports rise up to this quality as well. But I wont watch them or anything.
You CAN however bet that any championships won in ANY sports will bare not only tshirts in my closet, but also added years to our list of football championships because we claim any form of championship we can.

Football and Basketball are tied for #1 with me. I love basketball. Everything is else, to me, is just what I skim by while reading/watching the news. I love the University and want to see all do well, but, if I'm being honest, I have no interest in the other sports.
I saw several threads the other day with folks getting up about LSU sweeping Bama in baseball . . . and I laughed. Face it, this website and most others like it, center first and foremost around football. Basketball is a distant second. The other sports are normally only mentioned if your team does well. I mean, do you care about softball, gymnastics, or baseball during the off season or during recruiting? Probably not.
While others may care or say they care, the reality is you don't care enough. I mean you don't get 78K to watch the baseball team have an exhibition game.

More of a blip than LSU. Bama is #30 in all time wins. I can't tell you where LSU ranks because I could only find a list of the top 50.
And Bama absolutley owns LSU head to head. It's not even close. Absolute domination. LSU would have to get the season sweep against Bama for 18 straight years just to pull even
But keep telling yourself you're better for making it deep into the tournament without ever actually winning anything

For having basketball as Bamas "second" sport yall sure dont know much. Regular season wins and even conference titles dont mean crap. Ask UK fans about Tubby Smith. Ask Cleveland fans how they felt about having the best record in the NBA when they had Lebron. Having a tournament diminishes the regular season wins and conference championships thats the main argument against it in football. Never making a final four is the same as never making a BCS bowl. I sure bet yall cherish that one elite eight though. quote:

Heres a hint. Absolutely no one outside of Bama fans care about this because it means precisely nothing. Same thing as a sweep in baseball this weekend. It means nothing on a national scale.
