The Cleveland Browns remain uncertain exactly how to handle running back Peyton Hillis. Some in the organization want to try and keep him, while others want to part ways and draft Alabama's Trent Richardson. I think the draft option will win out, but no one knows for certain just yet.

And a Tampa Bay Bucs beat writer has already said that he's 90% certain that the Bucs will draft Richardson if he falls to them. It's looking more and more likely that Trent's a lock to go in the top 5. He's not going to drop like some people have been speculating. Despite the decreasing value of running backs, teams at the top aren't going to pass up on the best RB prospect since Adrian Peterson.

sounds like the Browns want to remain irrelevant...drafting a running back early in the first round.

That's why they're the Browns.

I feel sorry for Trent for going to either team.

Because you don't sign a guy to a big deal or draft a guy in the top 5 just so he can be a backup.

Why not RG3? Hillis is a beast if healthy and used right...Colt is not the answer in Cleveland

I don't think RGIII is going to be all that at the next level. He excelled against weak competition. He'll get broken in the NFL.

We shall see. He has a chance to get broken like Vick but something about this kid.....says success.

It seems like Mike Holmgren feels the same way with the news about the Browns taking a hard look at drafting Richardson. Say what you want about Holmgren but he's always been a phenomenal evaluator of QB talent. If he's not sold on RGIII, I'm inclined to side with him.

They've got ammo in the form of another 1st round pick, so they have some flexibility...

Ok.....we will go with that then....Hilis is a proven commodity. and that is not a knock on Trent Richardson, who is a monster. Hillis will come cheaper and you take the money and go get a QB. Maybe a Matt Flynn...or hell, over the Pats a 2nd round pick for Ryan Mallett, who i guarantee was still the best qb drafted in last years draft.

Makes me wonder why you're a CPA and not an NFL GM instead. Those guys ain't got nothing on you.

We need to pay Hillis, and try to trade down within the top ten and take Claiborne or Trent. If we take the 22nd pick to go up and get RGIII I'm gonna be upset.

Can't ever have enough good running backs.

There would be enough carries to go around; you need two good backs in the NFL. Plus Hillis can play FB and is a great receiver so Hillis and Richardson could both be on the field at the same time. That would be pretty sick.
