It would be really hard to pick Alabama to beat Arky. LSU with their veteran defense should easily be favored.

Is Arky going 1-1 what the majority think will happen? If Alabama were to upset LSU it could make for an interesting 3-way tie.

The question I have is how much will the departing WR's hurt the Arky offense, and, how many o-linemen are you losing?

If Petrino doesn't beat Bama next year I'm afraid he never will.

Arkansas fans are hoping for 1-1 between LSU and Bama and hope we win all our other games.

Saban owns Petrino. I see them going 0-2

a little bit but we are bringing in what will probably be the top WR class in the nation this year plus the backups were very talented when recruited. We will have some drop off but not much.

Not really.

I'm picking Bama to beat Arky in 2012.

I don't know what to think, but it's about time we beat Alabama. I'm also afraid that it's now or never to beat Alabama.

Hard to say since that game won't be played until the very end of the year. If we beat Bama and run the table we would be favored at home most likely even if LSU is undefeated

I don't get it. Saban does something to the guy. Bryant had Royal, and Petrino has Saban...so weird.

Yes, we need to beat them, but once again we can lose that game and win out and probably be in the MNC.

I think it might happen, bruh.

All indications are that Arky is on the precipice of great things. No flame, it's my serious gut feeling.

Defense is a bigger question mark than either of these, IMO. Maybe a new DC can make it less of a liability.

I think Arkansas will beat Bama in a tight game and lose a close one to LSU for an 11-1 finish.

I really thought we'd beat y'all in Fayetteville in 2010. Of course at the time we had no running game because Knile hadn't emerged yet, he could've been the difference maker IMO

Good point. How many players are they losing on defense.

In regard to some other posts. I believe Alabama will win, but I always do...

Well, we sure won't have the team or the outside motivation that we had in 2011. Saban went undefeated in 2008 with a lot less experience and a lot less talent so it'd be crazy to think we won't be capable of beating everyone. Whether we will is another factor. Its hard to maintain focus and energy when you're not quite as good as the previous year. Ask Auburn or Texas about that.

I say the ADs will vote Bama into the SECCG because our 11-1 record will be damn impressive.
