If he does commit to us, he might not even start, but he's still worth the scholarship. We need offensive weapons and I'm fine with gambling on a guy like Wallace.

Bundy will be using that line when Eli's kid is QB at OM.

I'm fairly sure I heard the same things in regards to Tyler Russell, but when word that Wallace might commit all you heard from State fans was how Wallace could probably come in and fight for the starting job, and how he was probably better than Russell and Russell was injury prone.

Now that Wallace looks to be coming to Ole Miss all you see is, well Wallace was our 4th option and he wouldn't even start for us but he'll be OM's starting QB.

The fact is State only has 2 scholarship QBa on our roster ( Russell and Prescott) if we don't get Wallace or Liggins we are in BIG trouble if we have an injury at the QB position next year.

Why are you IFing on Wallace you started this thread saying he would commit. If that has changed then start a new thread. So we dont have to read through the pissing match to find any info.

i don't know why people were excited anyway. how does this guy fit into a spread option offense? IMO Dak will be have to be thrown into the fire early next year as Russell can't run this offense.

Because 601 has a minimum number of posts he has to hit in a day.

i just don't see how a 6-5 220lber or what ever he is listed as helps our offense. Merlins QB recruiting has netted us one spread option QB in four classes.

I'm not sold on Wallace, hell I think its harder to project JUCO players than high school in some cases. State and Ole Miss both need him but both will be fine without him. State doesn't even need HIM as much as they just need a 3rd scholarship worthy QB in case things go tits up with injury's. I have a hard time believing Wallace would start at either school, especially State, with the unfamiliarity with States offense. Ole Miss needs him b/c who knows whats up with Mackey and I think besides Brunetti, Wallace will be the best QB on Ole Miss roster if he goes there and Mackey doesnt come back. It's almost like a why not offer the guy situation for both schools.

I know an Ole Miss fan isn't talking about another school's OL. Ole Miss by far had the worst OL in the SEC last year.
