Interesting, but quite contrary to what I'm hearing. Several BAMA players have been working on him, as well as his GF, who is pushing him hard to BAMA.

Cyrus Jones is a five start on Scout, but I don't prescribe to their rankings very much. Though, I think they are more accurate with their "offer lists".

Yes. She is going to Bama. I don't think that will be enough to sway him, but its certainly closer than his "boy" Eric Reid pulling him to LSU. Collins will go where he wants regardless of outside influences. As it should be.

Zach Lee said he was looking forward to coming to LSU, getting a degree from LSU and playing both football and baseball at LSU. He said he wanted the college experience. He ENROLLED at LSU, was taking classes. He even practiced with the football team for an entire summer, and part of fall. Then what happened? BOOM, money talked, gone.
Point is they can say anything, but ultimately talk is cheap, money is not.

You obviously have no clue of how the system works. We gave several slots that were backcounted from last year. We are allowed to sign 28 this year.

The new 25 rule does not go into effect until next year. Alabama can back-count four to the 2011 class, as only 22 sign in that class (and tragically A.D. died).

I never said he was a surefire 1st round prospect, nor does he need to be to take the MLB route. They give out money to sandwich round, 2nd round, 3rd round, etc guys too...especially if the right team gets him.
Projections right now are pointless considering we have a whole season to go before the draft, he could go either way on the draft boards from now till draft day considering how far away it is. I'm saying if he performs this spring, he'll be in position to be drafted very high, high enough to get money that'll be very hard to pass on.

Link? Searched and didn't get anything, the only thing I got for "Kiel" (or "Keil" in case it was misspelled) was his actual commitment thread. And if so thread you claim exists, was it 1 person saying we were the leader for him or a bunch of people?
