You can thank/blame DJ Mac on those two. The rumors are that he actively recruited for them to go elsewhere when he realized he was gonna get 86'd at LSU.

Nobody else would've treated that guy the way we did. Miles stuck up for him at first & tried to help him retain his job, believe it or not.

He repays us after we HAVE to can him by sending two difference makers elsewhere...

Did not know Alabama almost got this guy.

he was committed to Bama through nearly the entire recruiting process... switched on signing day.

Yup, and I didn't even include John Atchinson, who was actually committed to Auburn at one time before Tubbs left... Corey Grant learned the hard way, and I would think that some of these guys are, too. Not because they made the wrong decision going to Bama, but because they would be playing, actually playing, for Auburn. Plus, they would all have a ring.

Unless you are suggesting that they sold their 2009 National Championship rings, all but Corey Grant got one anyway. Atchison has dealt with injuries. Petey Smith had some discipline issues, and went to a JUCO. Tana Patrick has played a lot on special teams and in reserve.

Lamar Dawson, LB, to USC. He seemed all but committed and then he changed his mind in the middle of the night during a silent period (looking at you Orgeron).

And might be looking into the future a bit much, but if the Berry twins go elsewhere, particularly Auburn, that will suck.

Nah, I was just saying that for the Alabama fans that would say "They got rings at Bama, blah blah blah", when they would actually have them at both colleges.

Those three would have made a HUGE difference on this years team and the last two probably haven't even dressed at Bama

Jonathan Atchison, LaDarius Perkins, William Green, Phelon Jones, and most of all....

I give them the benefit of the doubt since they play behind some great LBers. Phelon was a waste of space at LSU and Bama, and Perkins is nothing more than a scat back, IMO. He's fast, but he has small legs and no drive.

Ronnie Wingo, with our lack of tailback depth I think he could have put up some numbers this yr.
