I was at a party last night talking football with 2 Georgia fans and a Gatro fan. They all want LSU to kill Bama. We even drank a toast to LSU.

I dont think any self-respecting LSU fan would be happy with a split title.

Reasons:
1. Like LSU in general. Spent some time on the Gulf Coast and really liked the culture.
2. LSU earned it once. I would rather have a clear #1.
3. Not a fan of a playoff (although I wouldn't complain about a plus 1) -- precisely because you can end up with a scenario where the regular season loser becomes the post-season winner. Playoffs reward mediocrity [see 1973 Mets].
4. Miles > Saban.
5. Golden Girls.
6. LSU beat UGA.

I'm with you, Fro. I for one will never claim a MNC for a season in which we lose our last game. Only fans of a. . um. . .certain other school would do that.

Pretending Auburn or Tennessee fans would be neutral regarding anything Alabama plays in only shows how delusional you're being about this game.
ETA: I stand corrected - I saw a UT and AU fan casting their lot with Alabama.
