You think Arie takes over for Steen? Saban loves playing experience, Steen has plenty.

Hoping somehow Jones returns, and plays center.

Jones returning would be very big for Bama, OL would be very good. Add in experienced QB and I believe the O will be better next year.

On D, the DL should be OK but I am concerned with replacing Chapman. I don't think he gets enough credit. If nobody steps up, I think Williams will move inside. Back seven will have some new guys.
Expecting Vinnie and Trey to do well. CJ and Lester will need to step up as leaders. Will also get Lowery back, valuable exp. in dime.

UM game, the new faces in the back seven will be a concern playing against Robinson. The Offense should be able to score in the low 40s.

McCarron is an "excitable boy" in the words of Warren Zevon.

I think we see a much different offense in 2012, but I am afraid it will be because we have to score a lot of points to win.

Our offense will be much improved, defense will still be a Nick Saban defense. Not even in the same realm as talent, but enough to make plays and get it done.

Dude, Trent Richardson is ya'lls whole offense. period. Eddie Lacy doesn't even compare. You also lose your top 3 WRs. That offense is going to blow, ala LSU last year.

We might not be that much improved, but we will be close to what we were this year.

A nick Saban defense is like a bobby Petrino offense. It reloads. The talent might go down a notch every third year but a good scheme keeps it competitive as just as tough....

Perhaps you are uninformed.

Last year Bama lost on offense
- Heisman Trophy winner, 1st round pick
- Best receiver ever at Bama, 1st round pick
- Record breaking and best QB at Bama in the last 30 years.
- 1st round pick at left tackle.

With almost all of Bama's offense yds/scoring leaving, what happened this year?
- Bama scored more points per game
- Bama averaged ten yds less per game.

Bama will have a better offense next year.

If B. Jones comes back, that's 4/5 Lineman returning. Slide him inside to C , and Cyrus takes over LT. The most important position, QB, has a returning starter. (And even the biggest flaming rantard has to admit AJ played better than they expected.) The Lacy/Hart/Fowler/incoming freshman combo is as good as anyone in the conference.
On D, the biggest loss is Chapman. To make a Saban D function, you have to have the space-eater in the middle. We will return Lester at S & Milliner at CB, so the secondary is not a complete overhaul. The front 7 will still ne elite.

Who will be favored in this game? We lose a lot and UM gets Robinson back for his senior season. Should be a good game.

It better not be a good game.

It's the big/slow 10, so we should kill UM.

You will destroy UM - they are just flat out not that good. Denard will have no space to run, and he doesn't throw like a true QB. Bama by 14+

A lot of Butt hurt in this thread but here's the depth chart not counting FR or RFR who could make a move.

QB AJ Mc/Sims
RB Lacy/Fowler/Hart
WR White/Bell/Sylve?
WR Norwood/Bowman/C Jones
TE Williams/Vogler
OT C Kouandjio
OG C Warmack
OC K Williams
OG A Steen
OT DJ Fluker
----------------
Defense
DE Square/Stinson/Pettway
DE Dial/Billingsly/Fanning
DT J Williams/Ivory/ming
JLB Hubbard/Dickson
ILB DePriest
ILB Mosley
LB N. Johnson/Atchison
DB Fulton
DB Milliner
FS Lester/Sunseri
SS Lowery/N Perry/H C-Dix

That Defensive Roster + Saban Scheme will still be a top 10 defense.. not sure if Saban has had anything less @ Bama not counting 1st season. These are ALL his players and they only know his scheme... others have had to be retaught these guys won't.

Offensively Running game will continue to hurt people and the outside talent is better size and speed wise. Bell and White have both shown big play potential and AJ will be vastly improved. He's already a very solid QB. Another spring and Summer and Bama's O could be very dangerous.

In summary Bama will still challenge for the West and it won't be impossible to beat LSU. This Team could still win it all. Experience on defense will be missing in some areas but Lester,Mosely,Johnson,Milliner,Square and Lowery all have CHAMPIONSHIP EXPERIENCE. Williams, DePriest and Sunseri will have it too after 1/9 That will be 8/11 from a Championship calibre team returning it could and probably will be more than that due to rotations during the game.

Bama will be fine next year I think we will see very good leadership out of these experienced guys. They are all good character individuals and they have seen great leadership over the last few seasons.

Any Bama fan thinking we won't win 10 next year probably hasn't thought this through.

Agree

We need to walk the walk before and after games, so let's drop the poor mouth. Michigan shouldn't give us any problems.
