Drew is the hire. There's no reason to not throw this guy the money unless you don't want to try and win in Basketball.
With the recruits he would bring with him, we would probably be tournament bound his first year.
Not hiring Drew says that the Athletic Program isn't trying to make Men's Basketball a priority, imo.

I get wishful thinking and vague talking, but there would really be no reason for him to apologize to his family if it wasn't him involved.
Also, I understand him wanting to protect his son, but he has a whole of a hell lot more to lose in this than his son, and no reason for his son not to take the blame in this situation imo.

This guys attitude is exactly what our coaches love. He's a coach able guy with unbelievable physical attributes. It's hard to quantify coachability of a player in the rankings, but it is a huge factor to success.

I agree. I don't think that we will be signing many free agents this year except the ones we have. There's just not enough cap space to do anything.
We're going to see what Spags is made of this year, the defensive squad will basically be the same.

Kiel > Winston. Period. Winston is an amazing athlete, but he's just like any dual threat guy out of high school, raw and unpolished.
