Sagarin releases his computer rankings early and they have been updated already in which Alabama held on to the #2 spot which is huge. LINK

@BCSGuru BCS Guru Coaches will have Bama at No. 2 as will Harris voters. BUT ... I'm projecting OSU to be at No. 2 in the BCS standings.

Ok...so what the frick is Sagarin and how does Bama being number 2 help in its BCS ranking?

It's been his way for weeks, and it has been one of the dropped outlier rankings. Means nothing for the gumps, sorry.

This is really not relevant from everything I've read. It's widely assumed Ok. State's computer average WILL be better than Bama's, which gives them a bump in the BCS rankings.

It's about all of the computers' AVERAGES.

The unknown variables are the Coaches Poll and the Harris Poll. END OF STORY. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Before you resume trashing Iowa St again ... look closely. He has them with the #2 in stregnth of shedule. Maybe they didn't suck as much as you think but draw a tough schedule.
