ESPN Has Never Decided The BCS Like This Before

If its Bama, its Bama. But, this is unreal. They are actively trying to influence the vote. They aren't just sharing their opinion, they are saying it "will be Bama."
All that is needed is for 25% of the pollsters to decide that the Big 12 champion is more worthy than the SEC West Runner-Up who wants a rematch with a team that beat them at home. Its not that hard to imagine.
Unreal. ESPN is now making the news instead of just reporting it.

The way they are going about it is making me lose respect for ESPN.
Bama probably still gets in, but why does ESPN have to try so hard to influence the voters for a rematch so obviously?

So they are advocating the top 2 teams in the country play each other for the BCS Championship. Those bastards!!!

The best was line for me was "Hey a rematch isn't so bad, remember the Giants-New England superbowl, remember rocky-apollo creed, etc."
At that point there was no question about the agenda.

Tigerdroppings should organize a ESPN boycott

Remember though...All of those ESPN analysts and commentators who say where they would rank Bama and OSU in their polls, have a vote in the AP poll. This poll doesn't count in the BCS.
Yes ESPN wants LSU/Bama, but it's going to be up to the coaches poll and harris poll...not ESPN

Whether LSU and Alabama are the best 2 teams in the nation is not really the issue. It's not their role to advocate anything. They're supposed to be a news organization. They report things.

Never this bad. This is pathetic.
If it is Bama, then fine. But, don't try to so blatantly influence everyone.
There should be a backlash.
I want LSU to beat another conference champion, not the second place team in our own division that we already beat.
We want to play for the NATIONAL TITLE, not the SEC West, which we already won.

Trying to influence the system.. May or may not work..
Listen to commentators. The sell job is ON!

Isn't this the first time the title game is on ESPN ? That would be why they are trying to create the matchup they want so blatantly.

They are trying to create controversy so the most people will watch their 3 hour BCS special tomorrow night.
