If LSU were to win out and win our 4th National Title, where would the SEC rant rank LSU as far as SEC football programs. I know Bama is firmly #1 with 22 SEC titles.

I would guess third behind Alabama and Tennessee?

I was also wondering what else does LSU need to do to pass UT.

I think UT only has 2 SEC TITLES since I was born in 1979. I could be wrong.

Ok but over its entire history, (ie the topic of this thread), UT is still top 10 all-time in CFB wins, has around 14 or so conference titles (some of which are Southern Conference titles), 4 or so national titles, and a considerable overall record lead against LSU.
I really don't like UT, but when you're talking entire history I don't think people realize how much UT exactly has. Maybe its because of where they are now. Or because one of their main rivals is the even more historical Alabama. But not many programs would surpass UT on a historical scale.

We're past Georgia in terms of all time history and rank. I don't give a damn what anyone else says.

LSU has one more NC(currently) and thats it(compared to UGA) How are you better in terms of all time history and rank?

They aren't yet. If LSU wins the ship this year, it could be argued.

IF we win the ship then we will have about the same winning %, 2 more NCs, and one less SEC championship. LSU currently is about equal to UGA. With one more NC we would be easily > than UGA historically.
