Why are us LSU Fans Afraid of a Rematch with Bama?

Who cares if they get the rematch. They are clearly the only team that is in the same league as LSU this year. They SHOULD get the rematch imo. Why so scared?

no one is scared
people are saying that okie state will be more deserving if they beat oklahoma....the computers have them at 2 and bama not playing next week may affect the human polls as well...

Who's scared? I think most logical fans want the easiest route to the crystal. If we hadn't already played (and beat) Bama this year, then I could see your argument.

if they played tomorrow LSU would win by 7-10.

and should Bama beat LSU in the BCS game, who gets the championship? Do you split it if both have 1 loss?
i think bama is easily the #2 team. but im not sure its fair they get a rematch

I'm just calling it like I see it. Bama is good. I think LSU is better. So, why not beat Bama TWICE. That would be more epic than Bama getting left out of the title game imo.

Jefferson is a better QB than McCarron, and our offense doesn't rely on giving one guy the ball 30 times.
The defenses are equal.
Our special teams are exponentially better at kicker, punter, kick coverage, punt coverage, etc.
The game is in the Superdome.
We have the better bowl coach.
