I -wish- Bama had the opportunity to potentially win both the SECCG and the NC even if it could knock us out of the NC race.
Any of my crimson brethren feel that way?

I'll be honest. I actually thought about this same thing the other night. I would rather play the extra game that LSU is bitching about having to play and get the SEC Champ ring too.

I'd wouldn't mind seeing Bama play for an SEC title. I think the odds are slim however

Yeah I wish we were playing for the SECC but that ain't shite compared to a NC.

When LSU beats R-Kansas, and wins out, you petition the BCS to let us forego the SEC championship game and Bama plays Georgia. LSU is declared the National Champion because we are the only legitimate unbeaten team, (houston doesn't count) in the nation. I could you reasons why we shouldn't play each other again, but we don't want to go there. You beat Georgia, and play in the Sugar Bowl against whomever.

Provided that we beat Arkansas Friday, I'm thrilled about the chance to win the SEC title. We are catching up to Georgia and Tennessee in that department.

i thought you meant 2011 & 2012 MNCs as Bama is a senior laden team whereas LSU is stocked with mostly juniors and sophomores
