It's not hard for anyone (other than a bunch of Tide fans apparently) to understand. As it stands now, it looks like Bama is the only team that would truly test LSU in the game and have a chance of taking the title. So, naturally, especially having already beat them once, that's the team LSU fans would want to avoid.

I prefer someone I haven't played yet in the big12. I don't really care who we play if the big 12 isn't a viable candidate.

LSU destroyed Oregon. And they've been a bunch of whiny bitches acting like their 50 pt. wins against Arizona mean something.
We're just picking from two teams we've already beaten so...
But the national audience does not want to see LSU rape Oregon again...
LSU-Alabama is much better for college football.

I think that the countries best two teams, LSU and Bama, should rematch in the BCS game - if they both finish their regular seasons w/o further losses and only if Alabama plays and beats Georgia in the SEC Title Game. Yes, I feel that the reasoning for entry into the SEC Title Game should be changed this year with the best two teams in the SEC West.
Having lost to LSU already, Bama should play a wild card game (the Atlanta SEC Title Game) while LSU would sit at home mending their player injuries after a hard fought regular season - only fair as just compensation for finshing undefeated and having already beaten Bama!!!!
