You are delusional to think TR is on the same level as AP

Peterson had to face Big 12 defenses.

Richardson has to face SEC defenses.

Big difference IMO

AP was the most dominant college rb I've ever seen.

Agreed. TR would run wild in the Big 12. But I still give the slight nod to early AP.

I remember watching AP's high school highlights when he was being recruited and thinking there was no way this kid was going to not win atleast one heisman and national title wherever he signed. He was on another level than, in college, and now in the NFL. Richardson is an absolute stud of a back and is probably the best I've seen since AP. I think if he was going against the BIG 12 D's peterson went against instead of the SEC D's of today he would have similar stats and you could argue he is better.

AP ran 4.3 40s and did a 4.4 at the combine. That speed is what really put him above many other backs as large as him. Same could be said for McFadden.

Sure there are plenty of fast guys, but when you are hauling around the size of trent and adrian, if you run a 4.3, NO one is going to catch you.

haha I remember reading his recruiting report, and every incredible aspect you could possibly have as a RB, it was included in the report. Dude is the best.

AP. TRich is great but he's not an all time great college back. He's just not the guy we'll be talking about in 25 years like Dmac, Bush, Peterson.

It makes no difference to me if he played against big 12 D's, he was doing the same thing too NFL teams his rookie year.

Plus I remember McFadden running for a whole shite load of yards. Trent just has not done as much compared to Peterson.

Slight edge to Peterson, but seriously

Peterson, but I would say it's partially close...

He would've been taken top 3 in the NFL Draft had be not had injury problems while at OU. He's was an absolute stud his true freshman season. He was just playing out of his freaking mind.

If Richardson could play against Arkansas every week he would hold every record a RB could dream of.

Adrian Peterson should feel insulted. As good as Richardson is, Peterson was probably the best college rb I have ever seen in person. Who knows what he could've done if it wasn't for the injuries.

Get back to us after you've played a few SEC defenses on a weekly basis.

So Trent Richardson is a better college back than Peterson simply because he plays SEC defenses? Jesus, look at what Peterson does in the NFL.

Besides LSU, what really tough defense has he had to face? UF? Vandy? Ole Miss?
