I watched several of AP's games here at Palestine High. Guy was on a different planet that anything he faced. He did get knicked from time to time, but that was due to his all out kill or be killed running style....

What elite defenses has Trent faced?

Richardson pwned us, but we also gave up 4 TDs to Clint fricking Moseley and gave up 100+ to some clown at UK named Co'shik Williams or some shite

Richardson is a monster, but AP has the slight edge

I'd take Peterson's first born son over Richardson. He's that freaky good.

Wow, I guess LSU could knock the shite out of Peterson, funny McFadden ran all over them, but I guess not Peterson.

What would TR look like if he was not splitting time with Ingram?

OL has never been a problem for OU. But playing an SEC defense week in and week out takes its toll on a back.

I said earlier that I thought early AP was the better, even if TR was more durable and faced tougher defenses. My reply to the Mizzou porter was because he said AP should be embarassed to be compared to TR. AP was not THAT much better.

SEC defenses are better than Big 12 defenses top to bottom.

AP belongs in the conversation with Bo and Herschel and Barry (as far as college goes)...

A better debate for Trent would be him or Ingram...neither belong in the above category imo

This is stupid. It's like saying Brady quin was a top 5 pick until he faced a lsu defense.

That Notre dame / lsu sugar bowl made Jamarcus the number 1 pick and sent quin sailing down the draft board

Put Trent in the big 12 and see what happens

Hell no. Peterson was on an entirely different level. He was arguably the best RB in the NFL his rookie season

LSU is the only good defense he has played this year, the second best defense he played against was a Big10 defense.

More power, less speed. NFL equals more power and speed. Peterson all the way

Peterson had to face Big 12 defenses.

Richardson has to face SEC defenses.

Big difference IMO

This is painfully stupid. Peterson was ripping up NFL defenses from his first rookie game (he had 160 total yards and a TD). You don't think he would have dominated the SEC?
