yet Bama deserves to play LSU again for the national championship after losing at home to them?
Even before an undefeated team or two or three deserve to? Makes sense.

No Alabama fan would care if there was an undefeated team that got in ahead of them, besides BSU. But if there aren't any undefeated teams then Alabama has an argument.
Alabama doesn't deserve to be #2 right now, but they may be the 2nd best team. If they can be the 2nd best team in the country AND work themselves back in the #2 BCS spot then what argument can you make for them not deserving it?

Don't tell us in one breath that you lost the game, LSU didn't win the game, then in the next breath give us excuses as to why you didn't score a touchdown. There was another team on the field, believe it or not. And they didn't let your offense get close enough to the endzone to let your kicker see the uprights without having to squint. You didn't beat yourselves. You got beat. At home. With two weeks to prepare and all the momentum in the world. As favorites. And now you want a rematch? So does Nazi Germany.

LSU would rather play Bama than Okie St, Stanford or anyone else. You know why? Because they're in Bama's head now, and the game is in the Dome. Not to mention the recruiting bounce.
I'm not saying LSU doesn't want a rematch. They just want a worthy opponent. And Bama ain't it.

I realize that. I'm just a fan, of a football team. I didn't even say Alabama was the second best team, I said they might be. Everything in your argument is opinion, other than the score of a game Alabama played in. Why should Alabama be disqualified from having a chance to get get back to the #2 BCS spot?

JESUS CHRIST. When Kirk and Fowler bring up the game at the end of the season they will say "Alabama has a loss at home to LSU." Not Alabama has a got beat by LSU at home. You act like I just argued that Alabama beat themselves or something. LSU beat Alabama at home, sorry I worded my sentence the wrong way
