If bama gets pressure on Lee

Will he choke?
Just like the redshirt senior quarterback recalls the disgusted stares they used to give him when he went out to eat. He also has not forgotten the hateful Facebook messages they sent him.
That was three years ago, when LSU fans vilified Lee during a redshirt freshman season in which he started eight games and threw 16 interceptions, seven of which were returned for touchdowns.
Lee still has flashbacks to that dreadful 2008 season, despite his return as the Tigers’ starting quarterback this season. He inherited the job in August when Jordan Jefferson, the incumbent starter, was suspended for his involvement in a brawl outside a bar.
Lee’s 2008 flashbacks were the worst when he backed up Jefferson. Lee would contemplate the two interceptions he threw in a blowout loss to eventual national champion Florida or the two returned for touchdowns in a 14-point loss to Georgia.
Yet the one interception that haunted Lee the most was the last of the four he threw against Alabama in a 27-21 overtime loss. It came on the first possession of the extra period, when he forced the ball into the end zone on third down instead of throwing it away to set up a field-goal attempt.
“That one,” Lee says, “really bothers me.

That's my biggest worry. He still looks shaky when he sees pressure, but he hasn't seen it consistently.
Not sure how he will react when he knows it's coming

If LSU gets pressure on AJ will he shite his pants?
Btw, Lee is a MUCH different QB then he was then. I know, let that sink in for a second.
Oh, and your link is whack.

Lee will buckle under pressure from Upshaw and shite his pants. Seriously, Bama gonna bring the heat.

WTF,it won't open. This is not intended as a flame, but wondered how ya'll felt about it. On the flip side,AJ has not seen pressure like he will see from ya'll,so nobody knows how he will handle it,I agree

Lsu has a better pass rush than bama. Ask McElroy

I hope Bama brings the heat on JL and JJ so he can throw it into man coverage and RR or Beckham will burn them on the outside like he has done often lately when teams blitz.

Lee's release has been ridiculously quick this year. You better hope y'all get pressure on him.

He didn't look that bad against y'all in '09 when JJ went down. I mean he wasn't great, but he didn't look scared either. I think he he's seen enough of y'all to know what he's dealing with.

The fact LSU beat Bama in 2010 doesn't matter. But the fact that Lee threw a lot of pics in 2008 matters!
Since years past only matter when it favors Bama, I too am concerned about this

The difference for LSU is that we have another QB who WILL get in the game at different times to change the pace. Jefferson will be ready to go and that will relieve the pressure on Lee to do everything. This is the same tandem that has gone against Alabama the past 2 years and they are much better now.
Alabama forgets about Kragthorpe and the difference that he has made in our QBs.
Also, Crowton is gone. To go along with Alabama's defense, Crowton would also "helter-skelter" the LSU offense into ineptitude with his playcalling. LSU has been really efficient this year and if we had scored TDs in the Miss. St. game instead of kicking 4 FGs inside the Redzone, LSU would not have scored less than 35 in any game this season.
Bama fans think that they are the only team that can field a defense. Bama will have the best defense that LSU has faced, but it isn't like Lee has never seen a blitz before - or a blitz from Bama before.

Lee's freshman season was due to poor offensive coordinator and a completley failure of a co-DC experiement. Crowton did a lot of mental damage to Lee, and ruined his confidence in himself, which is why we saw JJ the last few years.
But under a new coaching staff, Lee is a totally different QB. He plays with much more confidence and has been the most efficent QB LSU has seen in a long, long time.
ETA: Lee has handled pressure perfectly in every game so far. He either hits an open WR, dumps it to the WR or RB in the flats, or takes a sack, he does not turn it over.

if choking means hitting Randle for a 40 yard gain to crush your throats, then yes. He will choke Bama's asses to death.

2009?!?!? That is the past! And it doesn't favor Bama!!! It doesn't matter!

Good point. When the Bama D becomes too much for Lee to handle they can put JJ in to get his arse whooped too.
