there were certainly people who wanted him gone after the 2008 and 2009 seasons... and in the 2010 season the UT game was the low light
But it was not the Bama game that was the rebound - beating florida the week after the UT disaster was... the skepticism returned when Auburn put up a lot of rushing yards (even tho the game was close till near the end) and beating bama and then winning the bowl game convincingly were the solid points
winning another good bowl game, winning 11 games and evening his record against Urban Meyer and Nick Saban last year were all important things for Miles redemption last year... without all of those things happening I think there would have still been more vocal critics
