The problem with LSU is it's identity. Les Miles is doing everything possible to change an SEC team into a Big 10 team. Let's take a look at LSU's offensive line - big, slow and not very athletic. Most are 6'5 or taller with no speed and poor footwork. Who am I describing? Sounds like Michigan, Ohio State or Wisconsin doesn't it.

Miles has his defensive playmakers on the dline and backfield and has done a poor job of recruiting great linebackers, who are the real playmakers. Don't get me wrong, LSU has had great dlinemen and backs, but your playmakers on any great team are your linebackers and dbacks.

Will it be very hard to beat LSU on a saturday night in tiger stadium? Bet your arse it will be! But, as I look at LSU this fall, I can't help but believe that Miles is transforming an SEC team into a Big 10 team. Good Luck with that one Tiger Fans!

I am rather tired of reading all the rah rah about Barrett Jones. Don't get me wrong, I think Jones is a fine offensive lineman, but looking back at our oline last year, Warmack and Vlachos were better linemen than Jones. The Outland Trophy award was extremely political with Jones having a 4.0 GPA and going to Haiti on mission trips. Jones got beat many times in the NCG against LSU. I counted more than 10 times that Jones was on the ground.

Jones would be better off to return to RG where he played for two years. Jones is a zone blocker and at OC you have to hit someone every play, not zone block them.

I know I am going to get dogged for these comments but what the hell. Someone needs to say it!

Will be tough for Bama to get back to NCG. Hard schedule and a lot of new faces. Bama will be totally favored in 2013 to win NCG.
LSU should get back there with number of returners this year.
One thing I can promise, the BCS will try their damnest to keep any SEC team out of NCG.

RS was one of the best QBs to ever play in the Houston area. Loston is first cousin. RS was a great recruiting tool for LSU. Miles should have given RS more opportunity at QB. Miles rode JJ like Zorro all the way into the ground. Our play by play announcer in the 3rdQ of the NCG was even saying he could not understand why LM was not giving Lee an opportunity. Neither could we!

Georgia will not play in sugar bowl if they beat LSU. If LSU and Bama in NCG, Georgia not eligible. NCG gets first pick before Sugar.
